Carly Jo Jackson is a south Florida-based indie/acoustic-pop artist with a soulful vocal tone that is as infectious as her stage presence. She delivers energy and passion in every performance including her 2014 appearance on NBC’s America’s Got Talent where she was praised by the celebrity judges for her charisma as well as her captivating voice. In 2015 she toured music festivals throughout the south as winner of the Belk Southern Musician Showcase and was featured with her music in national TV commercials. Her upbeat single “Oh Yeah” got hands clapping when it was featured before 60,000 football fans at her 2016 performance at a San Francisco 49ers game. She kicked off 2017 with performances at the iconic 30A Songwriters Festival. She had her first trip to Texas for Austni’s South By Southwest (SXSW) and performed at the Texas Indie Music Fest and Red Gorilla Music Festival.
Carly Jo’s passion for music started early as a vocalist, but grew wings when she received a guitar for her 16th birthday and began writing songs and performing in cafes in her hometown of Orlando. Writing with a maturity well beyond her years, she recorded her first EP at just 17. While in college she released her award-winning coming-of-age single “Wildflower”. Carly Jo continues to grow as a songwriter, having completed her second EP “Color Show” in 2016, and to hone her magnetic stage presence as a full-time performing artist. She has new releases planned for mid-2017.
